My 2015 macbook was all fine. Then all of sudden it won’t charge. I went to Apple Store, they said they can repair it since it is under warranty, but the data will not be backed up. Then I open the back lid while charging it. I can only see the light that I circled in picture is on:
Any guru here? I don’t need to fully fix the macbook charging issue, I will let Apple do that. But I really need some data in there. What I wish is that I can turn it on in any way. Copy/send the important files to my Google Drive. Then let Apple do the rest part. Anyone even knows what that light on is for? Maybe I can try to turn it on by any chance? I try SMC reset thing. No luck:( I appreciate if someone can answer. Thank you.
Use an external hard USB hard drive and run Time Machine before your battery goes south.
A) Swap the logic board and get the data backup B) Spend 90$ - 100$ and order the battery pack for a1534 and you have around 4-5 hours to get data backup.
You can just take out your hard drive and give it to apple to fix. after they done fix it, you can put in your hard drive and you have all your data!
