I have a 1984 Suzuki Moped and it does not get any spark? I have replaced the Spark plug and still no spark? Any help would be great
Ray, couple of things that can cause this condition. First off, download the service manual for your moped from here. It will show you how and what to check.Reasons for no spark can be: “Poor contact between spark ply cap and high tension cord Broken or improperly connected ground wire Defective engine kill switch Poor contact of ignition switch Broken or short circuited ignition coil defective wiring among stator, PEI unit and ignition coil Defective PEI unit” Hope this helps to get you started.
