Hi guys, I have successfully repaired the power button with replacing the audio flex cable. BUT the mute switch isn’t working anymore!!!… What can I do? De assemble and re assemble? Or could it be a faulty part (or damaged by me..) Any advice please.. Thanks
could be a faulty part. replace with the old one and check if it works
Do not know where you purchased your part … Dismantling and assembly will not help you …. Or maybe during the correction hurt in flat cable Attempt to replace a new one, this time will be more careful :) מעבדה לתיקון גלקסי
I realize this was answered years ago, but I just had the same issue and the solution was simple and stupid. The mute button’s bracket has a tiny little nub of a switch, and the button itself has a slot – they both need to be either up or down. Like I said, simple and stupid.
