My son’s ipod touch developed one small grey spot that we assumed was due to pressing too hard. However over the weeks more have appeared and are blocking out parts of the screen. They are not wet spots and do not move. Ive attached a picture. How can this be resolved?
George is correct, those appear after the device has been well used and it is typically just the screen aging. Either way, it will require a replacement screen assembly. iPod touch (4th Gen) Screen iPod Touch 4th Generation Front Panel Replacement
This is possibly due to the age of the device and would require a replacement of the screen.
Zera Walpole those grey spots are actually not because of age but it is a broken LCD screen. Both prior answers as right that the only fix is to replace the dispaly assembly.
