Chosen Solution

I read the excellent guide on 7 plus screen replacement on this site as I’m trying to decide what to do next. I would be very grateful for any advice. To be honest, I’m considering buying the tools and parts required to fix my families phones myself, given this situation. I had my 7plus screen replaced today. The phone was fully functional apart from the badly cracked screen. It has been returned to me with the following functionality inoperative:

  1. Microphone 2. Speaker 3. Volume adjustment buttons 4. Front camera 5. Home button After reading the guide, it seems that it is entirely possible that a screen replacement can damage fragile connections etc.. Is this an acceptable risk? Or is there perhaps something else going on caused by the screen replacement? Thanks in advance. Update (07/04/2018) sorry everyone, I don’t undertand the how this site works. I’m still looking for advice. thanks

DIY repair advice: Don’t pick up other people’s mess. Whoever messed this up for you is responsible to clean it up for you. Restoring a previously failed repair is way beyond DIY level because it could have been tampered with from top to bottom, parts can be bad quality, repair handiwork can be horrible and generally more things get broken than fixed. It takes extensive detective work to figure out what the previous guy did and how to undo it, if even possible at all.
