I know this is going to sound weird but I ordered a screen from 2 different suppliers for a Moto G6 Play and both replacement screens are 1mm too short. Everything lines up at the top and the shape is perfect but there is a gap at the bottom. The flex cables work and are a perfect match to the original. Anybody else have this issue?
Hey Jestin, I have since discovered there are 7 variations of the G6 Play. Some of them use a 150mm screen and some use a 152mm screen. If the supplier doesn’t specify, you will most likely get a 150mm. I found an eBay seller that lets you pick which one you want and it worked great.
iFixit sells genuine Motrola parts. I would sugget you search on iFixit for availability of the specific moto part you need in order to ensure a proper fit. The genuine parts are going to be a lot more reliable!
