Is it possible, with all the connectors, to change a 2017 board in a 2015 housing of 12” MacBook? Or are there differences?
Sadly, the display is not compatible between your 2015 system and the 2017 logic board. Apple introduced TrueTone in the 2016 model year. In addition to cost of a new logic board is around $600 USD, it would be cheaper to locate a used 2017 system. I’ve seen them go as low as $400 USD.
