What’s the reason for locking down the mobile phone once and for all while writing the correct code?
Carrier subsidies - they use it to enforce the subsidy until the phone is paid off. Are you in the States or Japan? If you’re not in Japan you need a 3rd party to get it - otherwise call your carrier. DO NOT GUESS THE CODE - IT WILL EVENTUALLY PERMALOCK THE SIM STATUS!
