Hello, So after disassembling a destroyed iPhone and ripping one of the gps antenna leads I think I might have discovered a new issue….. I seem to be missing “DZ11” as referenced from another thread. Pic below to show….. What functionality have I lost or can the phone still function? I am attempting to rebuild the phone using the “6 mini housings” that are floating around out there. The original housing and screen were destroyed and are unusable. Until the new housing arrives I have no way to test the phone.

you’ve circled multiple components. DZ11 is the one to the right. It is a 6.8V-100PF Zener diode in a 01005 package. It is part of the dock connector circuitry and it is possible that your phone may still start but may fail in the boot loader. Replace it if missing or failed. Repair it once and repair it right.
