Hi, i have a problem with my iPhone, none of the microfones are working, i cant send audio notes on WhatsApp and the app voice memos doesn’t work either, the red button seems to be deshabilitated, also when i take a video the sound doesn’t record and when i connect the earphones sounds like static and doesn’t work the mic or play any sound. I have already change the lightning connector two times, i restore the phone and the problem continues. Please help me i dont know what to do.
Sounds like an audio chip issue. This can only be fixed by someone that does micro soldering. Up to you if you think it is worth repairing because I think it’s not for a iPhone 5s due to the dropped value in worth of the phone. Can you verify if the microphone works for video recording using the camera app? This app uses the rear microphone located right next to the rear camera instead of the bottom primary mic (on charger port) or secondary top mic (at earpiece speaker)
