Hi guys, what could go possibly wrong with microwave Samsung ME712RR when it lights on but doesn’t heat and spin? A short story of my mate’s GF said that it was working fine, only a door started troubling it didn’t open. She decided to disassemble a cover then it turned out that a mechanism inside that helps to open the door just broke on one side, but she fixed the door up by precisely melting a screw into the plastic - clever :) My apologies about the dark pics Kinds regards, Tarlan Isaev
@organicnz what do you mean by “lights on but doesn’t hit and spin” doesn’t hit. This could be an issue with the door switch so use a multimeter and check the switch to see if it does function. You also want to make sure that you are aware of the current/voltages of a microwave. You must realize that it packs enough of a punch to kill you. So be careful when you mess around with it.
