I just moved to a house, my old microwave oven started to take longer to heat up the food at the new house, I thought buying a new microwave would be the best option but my new microwave oven is taking a long time to heat up the food too. So I’m guessing there’s a problem with the house’s voltage. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?
It is unlikely that there is a different mains voltage in your new house. Chances (slim though) are that the wall outlet you are using cannot supply all the power your oven needs, or that the outlet has some problem with rusty contacts or cables. Try supplying your oven from a different outlet using an extension cord.
