I have a iPhone 4 32 GB i have an iPhone 4 and I have a problem . When I film something there’s no sound with the video after i wacht the video . but I have the mirophone tested with other application programs and microphone works . Why it does not work while filming ?
For what is the case for most smartphones these days, there tend to be more than one microphones with different purposes within your device. For the iPhone 4, there is a microphone in the Charging Port Assembly, and another up top in the Power Button Flex. In order to try and diagnose which mic is failing, try covering up the mic hole at the top near the headphone jack, and another down to the right of your Home Button while using the applications where the microphone seems to work.
