The replacement Front Camera and Sensor cable I received from iFixit is lacking any adhesive tape on the microphone. I am trying to install this replacement component onto a new Front Panel that also lacks any adhesive at the spot the microphone is supposed to mount. How do I apply an adhesive to complete this first step of the reassembly process? Thank you, Grant Frazier
I keep a few different kinds of adhesive on stock, for different repair purposes. [linked product missing or disabled: IF145-283-2] This is what I use for general purpose things, for phones
Make sure you don’t put any tape over the hole for your microphone, if you end of covering up this hole your Siri will not work.
