hello all, my Iphone 5 microphone is no longer working ONLY when i set loudspeaker during a call. Also when i record a voice note, the note was perfectly recorded. I need to know how works the microphones on iphone 5, how many? . To understand this, make me possible to buy the replacement parts that i need to fix it. thank you all!
TuricaT, As i know there is 3 MICs used to eliminate background noises and the HD voice. Check this configuration on your iPhone 5, Setting –> General —< Accessibility–> Hearing Aids – > Turn off “Hearing Aids” If above settings not works for you try to restore you phone via iTunes after restoring your iPhone if same fault observed here you can find the teardown guide and here i suggest the part for replacement Hope this answer will help you to troubleshoot the fault your self
