I used a heat blower to open my iPhone 6s because it was never opened before. The adhesive loosen up and allowed me to open it up. Changed the charging port with no problem. But then the microphone got muffed and speaker head went really low. Any suggestions?
You may have a defective replacement part or you could have installed it incorrectly. If you still have the original, you could install that one again to see if you have the same problems or not. While you’re doing this, check to insure there is nothing clogging the holes for the microphone and speaker. My concern is that you used heat to open up the phone. If you applied too much heat, you may have melted some plastic parts near the microphone and speaker and that could be the issue.
