When I’m calling and put my phone on speaker, the other person doesn’t hear me. But if I use video and talk in there it works, voice record work to.
You should try a replacement dock connector first as I think it has two microphones. While on a cell call the audio data goes through the baseband CPU and gets coded by the audio IC or vice versa if you are doing the talking. It may well be that one of the two microphones on the dock connector is solely responsible for this. If it is faulty no data would be reaching the baseband CPU but the other microphone would still be providing data to voice memos and video. Always rule out parts first.
