I’m replacing my 13” 2010 MBP logic board. All is disconnected except the mic. Tutorials (eg, iFixit) say to to spudge or tweeze up the microphone plug. The plug came up but the cables are glued in/on. How can I disconnect it? Has anyone done this? I’d appreciate any advice.
The foam around the microphone often gets sticky acting like glue. You’ll need to pry it out as well as the wires. If you damage it here’s the part info: Microphone Cable Apple P/N 922-9059
