After I replaced the lightning port my mic stopped working. Speaker works fine, headphones too and ı can use my headphones mic too but main mic seems to have a problem. I have connected the grounding part for headphone jack and peeled off the transparent sticker over the microphone and also tried it with and without the rubber part. Also I don’t think I have damaged the logicboard . All of my mics don’t work.
You may have received a damaged Lightning port flex or it may have been damaged when you installed it. Check out this guide and double check your work if you haven’t already. Inspect the flex closely, preferably with magnification to see if anything is obviously wrong. Depending on what the issue was with the original flex, it it had a working microphone, you could try to re-install it just to rule out a logic board issue. If that’s the case, have your Lightning port flex replaced or refunded.
