Do all iPod touch have a metal tray between the LCD and the battery? I can’t seem to recall mine having one after taking it apart.
Not the 1st gen. Touch. All the others have a metal plane between the lcd and battery. Take a look at your 3rd gen. Touch: iPod Touch 3rd Generation Display Replacement
