Chosen Solution
Not sure what I did, but my Messages app now goes to something headed messages but there is nothing there. If I go to search for any message then it comes up, but they all seem to have gone from main message app.
This happened to me and I just updated to iOS 14.2 and it was 100% fixed. :) Happy Fixing
