Chosen Solution
I’m trying to figure out what happened with my brother’s macbook. One day the book was extremely freezing during regular web surfing and brother decided to hard reboot. Finally, the mbp doesn’t power on. Battery charging indicator does not blink/light up even one circle. Does transistor next to power pads look good? If it is a clue what is the optimal solution - simply replace logic board with one from ebay (which obviously was in used) or get a repair in a service center? Thank you in advance. Update (03/12/2019) Does the bigger picture make sense?

Fortunately, I was able to power the laptop up. Unfortunately, it does not boot up:
I was trying a lot to reset SMC, NVRAM&PRAM - no luck. Recovery Mode does not boot as well. I filmed all boot progress. Should I upload on youtube or previous picture is enough to diagnose the death of SMC? Thank you in advance.
Don’t know if it’s just a matter of lighting, picture is not so detailed, but the bigger IC there is the SMC and on the bottom of it there seems to be some dirt/corrosion ? If that’s the case the culprit might be right there..has there been any liquid damage at some stage ?
