Hi guys, I am starting into MacBook repairments, and in my company we have a case of a dead MacBook Pro Mid-2018 (model A1990). It turns on and fans start spinning, but the screen never turned on. I have already tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM to no avail. I had to open it up, unplugged the battery, tried once again, nothing. Finally I decided to take the logic board out and inspect it. I found what looks like liquid damage, and after some rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush, the corrosion remains. Here is the picture:

I do not see any dead components, and am currently scouting for this laptop’s schematics and boardview. Any troubleshooting tips or experiences with similar issues will be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read through guys, and have great day!

It does look like something go onto the logic board but this is the bottom side not the side a spill would normally get to. Heres a better image of a good board 15" Logic bd I would see if a bit of flux and some solder helps. I would use a small nozzle’d hot air rework station.
