Hi I want to replace the 100Gb drive that came factory installed in my MacBook Pro 2GHz Intel Core Duo. What’s the maximum hard drive capacity I can install? Thanks

Your machine can handle a hard drive with a maximum height of 9.5mm 640GB and 750GB drives are now within that range, you just need to confirm the height before purchase.

You need to format it using the “Disk Utility” application which is included with the OSX installer and format the drive as “HFS+ Journaled” It should then appear as a drive to install OSX on.
