Chilipad cube making high pitch noise, and now it doesn’t work
Keith Hooper, The high pitched noise may have been from a faulty fan or possibly pump(bearing). Below find a couple links to disassembly guide that can get you inside the unit to check and test for bad components. Good luck. I have the high pitched noise when plugged in, whether it’s running or not. It’s at the top end of my hearing. I’m guessing if I were 5 years older, I would no longer hear it. My phone charger makes a similar noise. It’s something to do with transformers/adaptors, and the super high frequency vibration caused by electromagnetic interactions inside the device.
