Whirlpool dishwasher. Five years old. Just started making a growling noise during the wash cycle. Seems to get less noisy as cycle progresses. Has a quiet pack insulation and was very quiet until last couple of days.
This is likely due to scaling building up on the rotator thus making it out of balance, as it rotates around it “grabs” and this is what your hearing.
