Hello, I have a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro with a 2.6 i5 and 8gb of RAM. Randomly it will no longer power on, and through standard troubleshooting I unplugged the battery and connected the charger, and the light will turn from green to amber - indicates its charging, but without the battery plugged in, that doesn’t make sense! I have replaced the logic board, which worked perfectly fine for about 15 minutes before the same issue started happening again. I then replaced the DC-Jack, but nothing has changed. I am at a loss of what may be going on, any ideas are appreciated. Worthy to note that when I have a drive plugged in through USB, the light indicating it is getting power turns on when I press the power button, but the fans don’t spin/no chime/etc. I have also tried different chargers to verify thats not the problem. Thanks!

Since you tried replacing the logic board and shows the same issue problem is likely to be caused by something attached to the board, including keyboard, screen, etc.. Try disconnecting parts one by one and you’ll eventually find the culprit..I’d bet on the keyboard :)
