Hello, I have a MacBook Pro 15 2008 unibody and when I plug the 85W MagSafe in (without the battery in ) the unit will not turn on, however it will charge the battery when the battery is in the computer! Also, when I tested the G3H circuit I am getting 24v! Any suggestions?
I lot of machines won’t start with just the mag-safe plugged in. Put in a good battery and leave it charged up. It’s like any motor, it draws the most power on start up.
