Chosen Solution
I was using my macbook last night just fine however I returned back from work today to find it won’t charge or take power. The battery and the system is still Operative for now. I had my book sitting on AC vent unit not sure if realveant however I have tried SMC reset a few times and another MagSafe connector neither worked. I also cleaned out the port for any possible debris
After further investigation I determined the fuse that connects to the the MagSafe port on the MacBook has been fried. However no other noticble damage on the logic board was discovered and the part is easily replaceable. So all in all not that bad of damage.
Try using a different charger since that could be the problem. It might be a battery issue but that isn’t likely. If these suggestions don’t work then I would try taking it to Apple, and seeing what they say.
