Hi, I cleverly spilled a drink over the machine and killed the screen, keyboard and right side I/0 port. It still looks beautiful from the outside though. My question is that, assuming it still works, can the SSD be removed and used in another computer? I have a few older macs laying around including a late 2009 iMac and 2010 MacBook Pro. Thanks.
Use the 2010 as the 2009 may not be able to handle Sierra if that is the OS X you have installed. You can either use it internally or with an SATA to USB adapter or external enclosure. UPDATE I either didn’t see that this was a Retina or the question got changed.
