Hello guys, so like the title says my laptop won’t turn on. This is what happened. I’m in a flight I place a Popsicle in the back seat in front of me and not remembering I left it there I place my laptop in there too. Once I took it out one side of laptop where the power /charger connects was covered in ice cream. I didn’t turn it on right away. Anyways I took it to the apple store and they’re trying to charge me $700 to replace any parts that do not work. My question is Where can I take my laptop to get it diagnosed and maybe getting repaired for way less than that. I’d appreciate as much help as possible , thank you guys.

You can read the guide for your machine (since there are 8 devices that match your generic description you should do some narrowing down of your model ID before you order any parts or attempt a repair).
