My MacBook (2015 12 inch retina) won’t turn on when the power button is pressed. The only reaction I can get out of the laptop is a glimpse of a 100% charged battery the moment I plug it in. I’ve tried resetting NVRAM. I was able to hear two chimes. But nothing happens when I release those keys after the second chime - the laptop stays on a black screen. I recently had my battery replaced at a local Apple store. The store also asked me to replace the logic board but I did not do that. The laptop was functioning well for a few days until it stopped working.
Open it up. Disconnect the battery. Press the power on button for ten seconds. Reconnect the battery and plug in the magsafe. Now press the power on button and watch the screen for a minute and see if anything appears.
