My mac was stepped on and now the disc us stuck inside and the screen is broken is it worth trying to fix and if so what do I have to do? I have never fixed one before and can’t afford a shop

Sarah, A screen replacement won’t be easy, though it’s totally possible! You haven’t told us what MacBook you have, so prices for the screen (and CD drive) can range fairly greatly…expect to easily pay over $200 (maybe over $300) for the parts to do this.
