Hi all, I have a early 2015 Macbook Pro 13in. It started randomly not wanting to charge. I went ahead and tried all the software fixes first. Rebooting, resetting SMC etc. I then replaced the charger with two different ones. Same thing, won’t charge. So I ordered a iFixIt DC/Magsafe 2 replacement part. Still won’t charge. I go into coconut battery and my battery health is good, 345 cycle counts. What are my next steps?
Battery seems to be in great condition and from the info looks like it’s still the original one, that points to a logic board failure. If you’re up for it, you can try measure battery pins voltages with battery disconnected with a multimeter and post back your findings for evaluation. Other than that you can try finding a reputable lab into Macs component level repairs, although it won’t be a cheap fix.
Sounds like you have a blown fuse! Take your logic board out and check the fuse
