I have a MacBook that you can somewhat use with a flashlight no matter what way I tilt the brightness it just stays dim where I cant see it please help

Try resetting PRAM; at startup press command+option+P+R until you hear a second boot chime then release. If that doesn’t help it might be you have a faulty keyboard or a faulty backlight circuit, but unfortunately there’s no way to tell exactly which of the two without some basic logic board testing.
