2 days ago my mac was working perfectly but now when i turn it on the screen is pitch black and the fans starts spinning really really fast. What could be the possible reason and repair?
Hard to give a clear answer without further testing and history..anything unusual happened to your Mac ? Try plugging in an HDMI cable to an external monitor to see if the Mac is working despite the black screen. If it does work normally on external, shy a light source from the back of the screen where the apple logo is and check if you see a dimmed out image, that might point to a backlight failure. If nothing shows at all but it works on external monitor it could be “just” a screen problem.
