Chosen Solution

I restarted my MacBook Pro. It goes to the startup screen and loads to 100% and stops. I have tried all of the possible startup possibilities, but it doesn’t respond to any of the key combinations. It won’t even start in safe mode. It loads, but is completely unresponsive to anything I try to do. The only response I have been able to get is with an SMBC reset (option + control + shift + power button). I read through the forums about this issue, but it seems that most people could at least start up in safe mode. Can anyone help me out with this issue?

You will need to try to boot from an external USB device with a know good operating system on it. Plug it in and hold down the Option key and select it. Then go to Utilities > Disk Utility and see if the internal storage media can be repaired.

Apologies - but this should NOT be listed as “solved.”
We have “SHOULD” suggestions … assuming it’s the SSD.
