Hi! I have an MacBook Pro, 15 inch. When i start it, the starting sound appears with a white screen for 2 seconds. After 2 seconds of white screen, the screen goes black and dont turn on after. The Computer is still on though, harddrive spinning and also the fan. I’ve tried to reset SMC and NVRAM/PRAM, but doesnt help. I think it might be that the computer goes into sleep straight away, or thinks it should use a external monitor? Any other ideas?
We really need to know your exact machine. there are recalls, different issues on different machines. This could be hard drive, hard drive cable, GPU or something else or a combination of issues. There is a recall for your computer. Call apple they will help you! Otherwise it could be anything, hard drive or CPU! Tell us what computer you have and then we can help you. On most models you can find out what computer it is be going to the apple logo on the top left hand corner of your computer, then press about this mac. Get back to us when your done!
