Hi So about 3 weeks ago I noticed my Mac shutting off and crashing with yellow horizontal lines and very blurry apple logo upon REGULAR boot… however when i boot into recovery or boot into any other form except Mac osx it works perfectly. I looked online and found that it could be a “Panic kernel” what im trying to find out is if my Logic board is bad or if its just software…
If it’s working OK in Safe Mode, but not in regular mode, it’s software issues. First thing I would do is install and run a good “Paid For” anti-virus program like Symantecs’ Endpoint Protection.
