Hi, My MacBook pro 17" have some keyboard problems… One row on the keyboard was broken. I ordered a new keyboard from eBay. I seated it in and two diagonal rows was broken. Then I cleaned the keyboard connector with some alcohol. And now the keyboard is broken and all the keys. The connector is pulled whole way in. Some of the blue plastic on the cable are gone. My model is a Late 2011 So whats the problem? Will I need a new keyboard?
At this point I think you’ll just want to get the uppercase assembly. Replacing the keyboard alone is a bit tricky if you haven’t done it before and getting the correct one for your system from eBay can be tough. The Late 2011 modes are highly sought after so its worth fixing even if you don’t plan to keep it.
