I replaced my battery in my 2015 MacBook Pro. This battery performs pretty well, but the battery adhesive started to fell off from the case, and it is flops around when I carry the machine. Should I contact the iFixit support? Or try to reinstall the battery with double-sided adhesive?
It depends! Did you fully remove the old adhesive from the uppercase?Did you use a good cleaner? Rubbing alcohol has junk in it! 85% or better Isopropyl alcohol is what you need which is difficult to get right now.Did you touch the battery adhesive with your fingers getting it messed up? If all of these are no then contact the iFixit store Contact iFixit Customer Support In the meantime stop moving your system around as over time the wires will breakdown which could cause more of a problem.
