Hello! I have a display anomaly on my Macbook Pro screen and I unfortunately kept putting it off to the side and the warranty has now expired. Is there any way I could get it repaired? Or know how much it’s going to cost for such a small issue? Or will I just have to live with it?
I think you’ll just need to live with it. Sorry ;-{ You appear to have a slight defect in the LCD so the light from the backlight is slightly brighter at that location. Replacing the display is about $600 just for the part. You could try to visit an Apple Store to see if they will replace it under the extended warranty problem for backlight flex cable defect. So if that is also happening then you might get it still fixed for free. FYI: The Design Flaw Behind MacBook Pro’s “Stage Light” Effect13-inch MacBook Pro Display Backlight Service Program
