Chosen Solution

I was using my mac book when it went off suddenly. When i examined the laptop i realized the pins in the Ethernet ports had come together. I have separated the pins but it still wont on. at first, when u connect the adapter it was only green but i changed an IC and now the charger light indicates the battery is charging but the laptop does not on. Any Solution, where to look or what to do? Update (12/04/2016) http://www.everymac.com/ultimate-mac-loo… The IC wasnt related to this issue. My backlight wasnt work some months ago and I bridged the inverter IC for power because there was no power coming to it. So when this issue came up I replaced that IC with a new one from an old board and that was when the charger started indicating orange. Which mean the battery charges but the board doesn’t power Update (12/05/2016)

that is the board. you can see the bridge with a thin wire.

You have run a wire from C7280 (PPVIN_S5_HS_OTHER_ISNS) to pin 4 of Q9706 (PPBUS_S0_LCDBKLT_FUSED). These are the same voltage of roughly 12.6V, but they are both for 2 different circuits, and you should not be bridging these connections (one is for when the Macbook is in an “off” state, another for when it is in an “on” state) For a start, remove the wire (I hope it is enamelled/insulated as well) and connect pin 4 of Q9706 to pin 2 F9700, on the other side of the board (if there is no voltage on pin 4. There will be no problem doing this as long as it is enamelled wire. Check all the power rails at this point and find out what is missing. Let us know what is not showing up.
