Hi Guys. So My 2011 MBP has developed a fault where the trackpad works completely fine when plugged in using the power adapter. As soon as I disconnect the charger, the trackpad becomes very jittery and its practically un-usable! I have replaced the battery since there was a message saying “Service battery soon“, but its made no difference. Ive read on other forums where people have the reverse issue where it works on battery but not when plugged in. Any ideas what the issue could be? My initial thoughts are some sort of grounding issue? I checked the connector for the battery and cleaned both sides ( Battery + Logic Board connectors ) but still having the same issue. Can anyone help?
