I just got my new 1TB SSD replaced the old 128GB in my system. Now the laptop won’t start anymore, even when returned the old one it won’t work either. There is no power at all! I need help please the laptop is new! Update (05/11/2019) Update: i sent my MBP to Apple and they fixed the issue luckily at no cost since it is still under the one year warranty, received it today, and installed the new SSD successfully, i think i should have been more careful when disconnecting the battery, use only plastic tools, i might have shorted something by mistake. Now, everything works fine with the upgraded SSD. Always disconnected the battery first, i have seen posts online that says you don’t have to disconnect the battery for a hard drive replacement, don’t risk it!
Ouch! This is not good! Did you properly disconnect the battery?Did you use ESD precautions? At this point you’ll need to return your system to Apple and pray they don’t notice the fact you pulled the SSD out (of course putting back the original). The cleaner it looks the better!
