Hi there, I’ve a MacBook 17" Core Duo A1151 with a bad GPU, so I need to change the logic board entirely. Can I replace it with another from an newer Macbook Pro 17" Core2Duo A1212 ? Fortunately I’ve found a Apple assistance centre who can replace the old GPU with a new one and the work isnt much expensive. Thank you!

Unfortunately, Apple changed several of the internal connectors between these two models, so the logic boards are not interchangeable. For example, the connectors for the fans are different.
