Hi people, My wife’s trusted MBP won’t turn on. The first clue is that the Magsafe indicator does not turn green when plugged. I have tried with another Magsafe charger, borrowed from a friend, but the result is the same, no green light at all. The second clue is linked to the charging indicator (on the side of the laptop): its first led blinks green rapidly when the Magsafe is plugged (upon pressing the button), but won’t turn on when the Magsafe is not connected. Any clues? Thanks in advance for any input, and I apologize if this question has been asked before (I have searched the similar questions but found none with the exact same conditions).

I assume the MagSafe plug stays Amber even after leaving it charging for 8 hrs. While you likely need a new battery, that’s not your issue here. No MagSafe LED is telling me either the MagSafe connector (DC-In board) or the charging logic has issues.
