I’m making some upgrades on my laptop so it currently does not have a battery installed inside of it. I am only relying on the AC Adapter as a power source at the moment. With that being said, when I plug the charger in, it lights up green as if there was a full battery inside. When I press the power button, nothing happens. The logic board just sits there. I tried jumping the power pads but that didn’t work either (maybe I did it wrong?). Is my logic board dead? I was told that if it were dead the charger wouldn’t even be lighting up. What can I do?
