Hello, can I replace 2011 macbook pro speakers with 2010 speakers? (the subwoofer part)
Right Speaker assembly: 2011 MacBook Pro 13" P/N: 922-97692010 MacBook Pro 13" P/N 922-9057 The parts are very different in the way they are laid out so you can’t just drop it in as a full assembly. As to doing some surgery to take the sub woofer speaker element out and transplant it, given the cost of the part is less than $15 US for the full assembly I’ve not wasted the effort (or risk damaging things).
