Chosen Solution
I took it apart and cleaned the corrosion off everything but the IO board. It worked for 1 day, then the brightness started flickering and it turned off. If I look close, there’s a very faint Apple logo on the screen when it boots, then it fades and the screen stays dark. Is there something I can do to fix this or should I get a new computer?
There is backlit display problem , try connecting it to an external monitor if it is working fine on external monitor than you have to replace the display or try plugging in the display cable properly. And about the macbook, dont buy a new , a 2017 macbook air works flawlessly and my brother is using the same model thats why i can tell you the experience Hope this would work.
